What is permanent supportive housing?

Kindle Communities is a non-profit landlord that believes everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. We are the proud project leader of a new five-storey apartment building that will provide Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) to 32 Guelph community members who need homes. This project is possible through a unique partnership between private sector and non-profit partners in the Guelph community, and we are thrilled to take part in our community’s plan to end homelessness in Guelph.

Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) is more than a place to call home. Our tenants will be chosen from a list of individuals in Guelph who need affordable homes and who also require support for a range of disabilities. Our space is specifically designed for this type of housing, and it includes independent units and common spaces for community-building and appointments with support staff. We look forward to welcoming our first tenants in 2023.
